Paul Klebnikov

[b. June 3, 1965, d. July 9, 2004]

Started reporting on Russian economic reforms in 1989. He continued to report on the Russian economy, as well as on the owners and directors of both privately held and state-owned/directed businesses and joint-enterprises until his murder in Moscow on July 9, 2004.

Named the first editor of the new publication "Forbes Russia" in 2004; previously a senior editor at Forbes.
